Have a 16 year old male Bichon. I’ve been giving these to him once a day for a few years now. He seems to be doing well for his age. Give him one a day mixed with dinner. Also give the vision supplements from zesty paws also. He has cataracts but can still somewhat see. I would recommendThese must taste good, because I have a dog that can smell a vitamin from a mile away and will not take it. But she loves these! I just crumble it, because they are big for her mouth. They are Heart-shaped, but soft. My other dogs just eat them as they are. I used to use Ocuglo, but I’d have to coat them in cream cheese or pop one down her throat. These bites have much of the same eye-protecting nutrients, and a couple extra. They are also much better priced, so a win-win! I highly recommend!I have a 14 years old lhasa maltese that started with a small cataract about 3 years ago. I have been giving her this product since then and the cataract has remained the same size and she has improved her vision. She does not get cloudy eyes as often as she used to.I use this daily since my dog has always had problems with her eyes. She loves the taste and never leaves it behind in her bowl. They smell sweet to where I’m even tempting to try them. Haha. I hope it is working for her because it’s suppose to support her eye care. I’d rather do something than nothing really.My dog is a double merle and has regular eye problems. A week or so after using these treats we saw improvements in his most recent eye problems that had stuck around for much longer than usual. This is not a miracle fix, but seems to have helped. Our dog doesn’t mind the flavors and eats the treats just fine.with in a couple days I noticed her eyes were clearer, bigger the puffy and watering just stopped. I was constantly washing her face and using eye drops. it's only been weeks using them now, it seems to easy and too good to be true. she's about 45 pounds ,I only give her 1 or 2 a day. I feel so relieved to not worry about her any more. it might just be my imagination but I swear she seems happier, I know I am. Thank You so muchStarted to give these to my 13 year old dauchsand mix, Snickerdoodle. His eyes were beginning to turn cloudy and I’ve noticed a decrease in his night vision and his vision overall. After only a week there is marked improvement. The cloudiness has lessened and his energy is higher. He started making eye contact again which he had stopped doing. I just looked down and he’s looking right at me. I’m like oh hello! I hope this continues to work and improve my boys vision. The only downside for me is he doesn’t want to eat them by themselves. I have to mix it up in his food. That being said my boy is picky as heck. lolGive this supplement a try if your pet’s eyes are getting cloudy and/or they’re having difficulty with vision, night vision, etc. Having a senior dog can be hard. Watching your fur baby grow older, grayer, and weaker is heartbreaking. Anything that can give him better vision and better quality of life is totally worth every penny.My 14 yr old pup was gradually declining in health, with arthritis, cataracts, and some cognitive impairment. He was on a prescription for rimadyl, but it did not seem to be helping him much, if at all. All he wanted to do was sleep, he didn't have any energy, he was stiff, deaf, and his vision was significantly impaired.So, I decided to put him on this in the hope that maybe it will at least slow down his decline and maybe alleviate his pain some. I never expected it would actually reverse some of his impairments, and so quickly. He now has more energy and is wandering around the home without any stimulus. I use to have to force him to wake up and move around every once in a while, but he now does that on his own. He'll now even play and chase his sister around a bit. His vision has seemed to improve and are even far less cloudy than they were before. One of his paws had such bad arthritis in it, you could see it due to the redness of his skin and it was a little misshapen. Surprisingly this has reversed quite a bit as well and you almost can't even tell it's different from the opposite paw. Not sure if his hearing has improved any, but that may also be too far gone to help, even for this supplement.And while of course one can't be sure which component of this supplement is helping the most, my suspicion is it's the astaxanthin, as it's a very powerful antioxidant and this is a pretty high dose. But everything else is probably helping some as well.I am very surprised by how well this has seemed to help him. I've waited a while to write this because I wanted to be sure, but by now I don't think it's a coincidence. Would definitely recommend discussing with your vet first, but otherwise I cannot recommend this enough.It help to improve my 12 years old dog eye sight
